I haven't been there for a while, but last week I spent a week playing and training there with my kids. It's amazing how this facility has developed over the last few months. The new owner has invested a lot and put a lot of love into it! The range (Trackman) and academy are brilliant. The staff were great, the food delicious and the course really beautiful! We'll be back any time!

This semi-private golf club is a gem in Orlando. Extremely friendly staff. The course is well layout and in great shape. It can be challenging for some players on most holes. We had a great time playing and enjoyed the food in the clubhouse. The food was so good that my wife wanted to come back just for it, let alone the value it offers. Conveniently located within 18 minutes around Orlando. Strongly recommended.

Cool track, but wouldn’t play again due to the $6 Coors light cans and the carts. It’s not that you can’t drive in the pines…that is NOT the issue- it’s how constantly annoying they are that detracts from the enjoyment of the round. It’s so much chiming and slowing down the cart that it ruins the round. It beeps and chirps multiple times per hole, and flashes CAUTION and stops the cart constantly- NOT in the pines, but in the fairway, on the way from the cart path to the fairway, and other random places that you’re allowed to drive on the course. It beeps constantly for seemingly no reason! After 7 holes, the electronic scorecard deleted our scores. The GPS gives distance to the center of the green, NOT the pin. And the carts are TINY- you’re touching your playing partner the entire round, crammed in like sardines.

Nothing you can do about the size of the carts now, they’re already been purchased. At the very least, management needs to heed these reviews about the carts and get new cart software. It’s hurting the business.

Condition was ok in so far as the greens were really good, fairways were ok, and tee boxes were bad.

Lastly, at least offer a discount on 6 beers or 12 beers. $6 single can is $72 for a 12-pack. Wut???

I read the other reviews before making my reservation and was prepared for slow carts and attack squirrels. Nothing could be further from the truth. The course is in great shape especially the greens given that it is December. The squirrels are mellow and doing squirrel things. The carts are only slow when you drive the cart where you shouldn't be taking the cart. Most courses force you to backup the cart when you are in a restricted area. These carts let you go forward but slowly just until you get back in the fairway. Overall great place to play and pace of play was good.

My husband and I eloped back in April and we decided to host an elopement celebration here at Rio pinar. We wanted to celebrate with friends and family. I have to say that Paige, Naomi, and the team were amazing! They were so accommodating and easy to work with. Patient with all of the questions. And made sure that the entire night went how it should. We had an amazing time and only great memories to look back on!

We had an amazing experience yesterday. The course is in gorgeous condition. We'd not been here for 2+ years, due to an unpleasant experience on our last visit. We have completely changed our mind. Staff members were welcoming and cheerful, the course Ranger was exceptionally helpful. He kept the course moving, and shared friendly conversation. The restaurant looks beautiful and the restrooms are CLEAN and well stocked, both in the club house and on the course. We have already rebooked for next week!
UPDATE:
We enjoyed our round so much the previous weekend, we rebooked for last Saturday, we enjoyed that so much, we rebooked for next weekend! Terry, the Ranger, was again, wonderful and helpful. All staff that we interacted with were gracious and cheerful. The Pro Shop attendant went out of his way to accommodate our reservation for next week. The course is in BEAUTIFUL condition (pre-Milton!) It was a little busy, but pace of play was EXCELLENT. We are delighted to have this course as a regular in our rotation of local courses.

New favorite course! Golfed here for the first time today and we loved it! Not only was the course in amazing shape from, greens, fairways and rough (minus just a few tee boxes getting aerated) but the staff were extremely friendly knowledgeable and helpful! Course quality was equal to celebration panther lake and even the Disney courses! Shade at tee boxes from tees is nice and the layout of the homes is very enjoyable not too difficult and not too dull. Had a beverage cart girl on a Friday which is hard to come by on courses now a days, great to have tht on a hot day. Side note the fox squirrels everywhere are adorable
